About Paul Bullen

 

Based Lancashire - Merseyside border, Paul is ideally placed and within easy reach of the North West of England’s most stunning landscape locations. Paul started his photographic journey back in 2008, though the enjoyment of fell walking. After exploring and seeing some of the most picturesque parts of the English Lake District, North Wales and the Yorkshire Dales. He wanted to capture the beauty of the valleys and fells through photography, and this has now taken over from fell walking. He soon discovered early morning and late evening light made for some of the best images, along with stormy skies adding to the drama enhancing an image. He continues to progress and hone his compositional skills in an attempt to capture and transfer what beauty he sees into a photograph.

Paul has been lucky enough to have images published in magazines, newspapers and websites, also selling through Getty Images. He also reached the shortlist and was commended for the Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards for 2015, 2017 and 2020.
